When we were doing  This activity, LS2 first created another copy of a different DLO required for us, which we are supposed to answer facts about the Giant centipedes. We continued by researching more information about the Centipedes, A fun fact I found interesting is that a centipede is a kind of bug with that has many legs . It moves around and looks a bit scary. That’s an interesting fact about them. I really enjoyed doing this activity because I got to learn many fact abiut the  Giant centipedes and  because they’re unusual animals. Learning about them can be exciting because they have strange habits, quick movements, and ways of catching prey that are pretty fascinating.

Their is one fun fact that I found out when watching the video and searching facts.My fun facted is Espite the name, no centipede has exactly 100 pairs of legs; they can have a varying number of legs, ranging from 15 pairs to 191 pairs, always an odd number.

This is what I would like to be in, a Naturopath is kind of  doctor who focuses on natural stuff,instead of just throwing prescription meds at a problem , they look into the cause of why you and how you’re feeling that way.   Like for an example that your diet is trash or that you’re completey stressed out. They use treatments that are straight from nature like herbs ,changing your nutrition or maybe even doing some counseling to reduce stress. The main point to support your body’s own power to heal itself.

This is what I learned in maths, fractions on a number line . Doing fraction on a number line is really easy and helps understanding with fracttions as well like for example when doing a equcation and you might think 6/4 is larger than 1/5 then that would be incorrect since the smaller the denominator the bigger the piece.

How life for women has changed. Life in 1870 for women was different from 2025 for women, This Google vid will show you how hard it was living as a women in 1870. In 1870 women couldn’t have education at the time or, they had to start by doing houses chores , the main things women could in 1870 was cook,clean and have many babies as possibly. Which in 2025 women now have the choice to be married or to be single . In 2025 women can vote, own land and many other things.

This week, for reading, we were set on a task. In our reading groups, We read a story about Shearers Strike, After we answered all the questions, We got to make our own opinion based of what we read, We made a perspective A perspective B and our own Opinion. In the story the shearers workers boss was not paying them enough money from the job, to feed themselves and their familys, So some workers quit, and they told other workers to stop working, and they stopped. But some had to go back to work, they still needed the money.

For inquiry  the task was to be in groups of three, we learned about ancient telling time (hourglass, sundial, clepsydra). We used our smart searching skills to research and create a DLO that tells us about ancient timekeeping devices. We were challenged to get into groups of 3, and to find out what our device will be. An hourglass was used in ancient times, some people call it sand time or sandglass.
