LI: To use our knowledge about dinosaurs in creative ways
In inquiry this is what we did,my group and I made a AI movie about a iguanodon hatching from their egg. This was a part what we found in our dinosaur and we made a Ai movie about it.
This is what my group had created for our dinosaur project, Our dinosaur was an Iguanodon, facts about Iguanodon is that they are plant based dinosaurs so they only eat plants, as well something really interesting that i learnt during my reasearch about Iguanodons is that they were the largest to be an herbivore, they would often pull leave of plants and eat them.
Fossils are like nature’s own photo albums, capturing dinosaurs in the moment they died. For example, scientists found a fossil of a T-Rex with tiny marks on its bones that showed it fought a smaller dinosaur. This helps us understand how dinosaurs lived and fought before they turned into fossils buried underground.
Mary Anning was a person who found many old bones from creatures that lived a long time ago I made a DLO about her tellling people why she is important.
This is what i did for my 50 word statment with my group and it shows what we did for the two questions The first was what are paleontologists and the other question is what do they do. Well paleontogists are people who research about dinorsaurs bone and learn more about it and what they do is they use tools if they find a dinosaurs bone the tools they use are jackhammer or brushes or other type of tools that help as well.

This is an DLO we made about Whakaari it shows the facts we know about Whakaari White Island . The Whakaari white Island erupted in 2019 as this is the most active volcano in New zealand and it’s age is 150,000 years old . Many died in the eruption which is heart breaking and two dozen were injured by the eruption. After the eruption many people who lived there couldn’t go back since the air was posion to breath . As they had to make sure it was safe to breath again they had to wait for all the smoke to clear up which would take days to arouhnd months.
For writing we did an activity we made a cinquain poem about volcanoes i did it as a group . The peom shows how the erupts in steps the first step goes on how the volcano was sleeping and later goes to erupt and after what it does when the eruption is done. Many people ask what happens after the eruption well after the eruption all the gas and fog from the volcano goes around the area making it impossible to breath .
This is the learning I did at school it shows how much work i have done this year.
This is what my parther and I did for a maths DLO. It shows what we learned in maths and this DLO is about multiplication addition. This DLO has steps to it showing how easy it is to understand multiplication addition. Example how this first question is done displaying how it can be done in 2/3 mins.

Why do the Maungari sleep? LI:
To write a pourquoi (tell me why or how) story that follows the structure and paints a picture in the mind of the reader.
Back ,far back,in the mists of time when the world was very young there was a mountain. It was a very sleepy mountain.
The mountain was named Maungarei. Everyone was distant because they didn’t want to make her mad so they let her rest rather than waking her up. As days passed on she was resting, then out of nowhere someone woke her up.
It wasn’t one the mountains that woke her. It was strange because it was coming from the earth’s surface and as each mountain whispered to one another.
When Maungarei woke up they knew that they had to be careful because of how stubborn she was and as well as everyone was trying to find out which area of the earth’s surface made that loud noise suddenly another noise came up .
They figured it was the village that tried stopping the villagers, but the villagers thought that it was a blessing from god so they started singing to the sky which made Maungarei feel annoyed and as rage filled her heart.
She started to erupt when out of nowhere smoke came out and some of the villagers started to run because they thought it wasn’t safe considering that some may have been counghing while smelling the smoke.
Others run because of their safety and their children’s safety and as the lava came out they realized it wasn’t safe at all when Maungarei stopped there was nothing left or anyone left. Now she was lonely because she was the only one that survived the eruption and sadly the other mountains did not survive the eruption. As her anger started to wear off she slowly realized what she had done.
As time passed on things slowly began to grow, nature started to grow even more and animals, humans started to come on to the Island.
Things became normal but everyone knew the ancient which gives more of an intense fear towards Maungarei. Some may believe that something larger had cost the ancient but the people who survived know much more to what happened. As life goes on this story gets told to many humans as it shows what happens when you are in fury and you become unhappy towards someone or something that didn’t work out for you.

Today in ls2 we made a Pourquoi Story. The story was about why the maungarei sleeps and the reason for why maungarei sleeps is because it erupted a long time ago and once a volcano erupts it takes a break for it’s next up coming eruption which in this case the Maungarei has already erupted so the Maungarei will erupt in the future.
